Author Stephanie Gorton joins us to discuss her book THE ICON AND THE IDEALIST, a history of reproductive rights told through the stories of birth-control pioneers Margaret Sanger and Mary Ware Dennett (an Astoria resident!), in conversation with Kelsey Osgood. For every copy of The Icon and the Idealist sold at this event, the author pledges to donate $10 to the New York Abortion Access Fund.
